How to Enter Cheats in GTA 5 on PC
PC players have two methods: the console command window and the in-game phone. Both are easy to use.
Method 1: Console Commands (Recommended)
1Make sure you are in single-player Story Mode
2Press the tilde key ~ (below Escape, left of 1)
3A text input console appears at the top of your screen
4Type the cheat code word (e.g., PAINKILLER for Invincibility)
5Press Enter to activate the cheat
6Press ~ again to close the console

Method 2: In-Game Phone
1Press the Up arrow key to open the in-game phone
2Click on the Dial Pad icon
3Type the phone number using your number keys
4Press Enter or click the call button
5The cheat activates and the number saves to contacts
Method 3: Xbox Controller on PC
